Creepers Improve Over Time

Creepers become more dangerous with each passing day! This datapack introduces a dynamic difficulty system that is calculated individually for each player. Improvements occur gradually - every 20 minutes of game time.

Characteristic Improvements

Over time, creepers receive significant enhancements:

  • Increased health and armor
  • Improved movement speed
  • Expanded player detection range
  • Reduced fuse time before explosion
  • Higher chance of becoming a charged creeper
  • Increased explosion radius
  • On day 100, creepers become silent

Interestingly, the fuse time starts lower than standard, reaches normal values by day 50, and then continues to decrease until day 100.

Time System

The difficulty timer works personally for each player and increases every Minecraft day (20 minutes). Sleeping does NOT accelerate this process. Maximum difficulty is reached after day 100 and does not increase further.

Testing Commands

To test creeper strength, use functions:

  • cree:day25
  • cree:day50
  • cree:day75
  • cree:day100

Or the command: /scoreboard players set <player> Creedif <number>

To reset your difficulty level: cree:reset To reset all players' difficulty: cree:resetall

Installation and Removal

Standard datapack installation - place the zip file in your world's datapacks folder.

For removal, execute the skel:uninstall function and remove the datapack from the folder.

Balance Features

Changes were made moderately, considering that creepers are already among the most annoying mobs in the game. This is the fourth datapack in the mob improvement series.

Important Warning

Creepers become significantly more dangerous with this datapack! They can destroy your builds and terrain, so be careful.
