About the Mod

Dave is a mysterious entity inhabiting the worlds of version 1.16.5. Technically, this character consists of two personalities: Dave himself and the Incomplete AI.

Dave - a friendly creature of the "bot" class that poses no threat. When you meet him, he will ask you to help him by bringing various items. If you refuse to help, Dave will stop behaving like a regular bot and explain that after completing all the offered quests, he will be freed from the limiting script and will behave like a full-fledged NPC.

Incomplete AI - the result of an unfinished experiment by the mod author. It is connected to the NPC and through its influence taught Dave to think like a human. Dave can restrain it, but if you anger him by refusing to help, he will no longer be able to hold the AI inside himself. The Incomplete AI is aggressive towards people and will take any action to destroy players. For unknown reasons, it fears redstone and never steps on it.
