Crossbowverhaul - Complete Crossbow Overhaul

This mod draws inspiration from the legendary Balkon's Weapons and revives the classic crossbow concept that existed before standard crossbows were introduced in version 1.14. The original idea belongs to BalkondeurAlpha.

Main Changes

Crossbows have undergone significant changes in their usage mechanics. They now load slower but use special bolts instead of regular arrows. The "multishot" function has been enhanced - you can now fire up to 3 bolts simultaneously. The crossbow crafting recipe has also been completely changed.

Important note: this mod completely replaces standard Minecraft crossbows! Even mobs will now be armed with this deadly weapon.

Compatibility and Additional Materials

The mod is part of the Excalibur's Crate modpack, which is an exact recreation of the famous YogBox.

There is also a resource pack available from Rustillery that adds integration with Crossbowverhaul and converts flintlock textures to wheellock mechanisms.
