ContainerSearcher
This mod remembers the contents of all containers you open and allows you to easily find needed items through a special in-game menu.
When you open a chest or other container, information about its contents is saved to a file. Using a hotkey (default NUM5, configurable in control settings) you can open a search menu that displays all items from previously opened containers. The menu offers search and sorting of items in various ways.
When clicking on an item in the menu the game will highlight the container where it's located, draw a particle trail, and turn the camera towards it. If you're close enough, the container will open automatically. After opening, the needed items will be highlighted inside the container.
An additional feature is also available: you can configure a hotkey for searching for an item from your inventory in nearby containers, similar to the functionality of the Extra Utilities mod.
Requirements
Fabric API and Cloth Config are required for operation. Installing Mod Menu is recommended for convenient mod configuration.
Frequently Asked Questions
How to change hotkeys?
