Culinary Construct
Culinary Construct is a modification that opens up endless possibilities for creating unique culinary masterpieces in Minecraft. Now you can combine any food ingredients to prepare your own sandwiches or nutritious bowls of stew. Yes, literally any products from your inventory!
Creating Custom Dishes
To begin your culinary experiments, you'll need just one new block — the Culinary Station. Its crafting recipe is extremely simple: a wooden slab placed above a crafting table.

After interacting with the block, a special interface for creating dishes will open:

Interface Elements:
- Base slot: place any suitable bread or bowl here
- Ingredient slots 1-5: add any food products without restrictions. When using a bowl as a base, bucket fluids and potions are also available
- Name field: give your dish a unique name (up to 35 characters)
- Output slot: the finished sandwich or bowl of food will appear here. Crafting uses one item from each slot, but sandwiches can be created in multiple copies depending on the ingredients
Nutritional Value
Each created dish combines the nutritional properties of all used ingredients. The total food value is the sum of all components' values, and the saturation modifier is calculated as the average of all ingredients, proportional to their contribution to the total nutrition. Essentially, you get all the benefits of the eaten products in one item.
Cooking Quality
Culinary arts are not just about mixing random ingredients. Although technically you can use any combination, for truly tasty food, ingredient variety is important. Each created dish receives a quality rating from "Disgusting" to "Delicious". Depending on this rating, the food gets a bonus or penalty to saturation. The quality range is also influenced by the number of ingredients — dishes with more components have a wider rating range.
Sandwich Quantity
Sometimes you can get several sandwiches from one set of ingredients. This is because different products have different nutritional values. However, a sandwich has limited capacity — if the total food value of ingredients exceeds 10 units, they are distributed among multiple sandwiches. The number of finished products depends on the total nutritional value of all components.
Note: in versions for Minecraft 1.12.x, only sandwich creation is available, without the ability to craft bowls.
