Description

Custom Cosmetics is a Minecraft modification that allows players to customize their character's appearance using resource packs or additional mods. Servers can easily add various cosmetic items and categories!

Features

• Resource pack support: Easy integration of custom cosmetics through resource packs.
• Additional mod support: Integration of cosmetics into your mods using commands /cosmetics inject mod $modid and /cosmetics add $player $cosmetic.
• Customizable cosmetics: Full control over cosmetic elements on the server - from models to textures.
• Simple configuration: Management of cosmetic data through the server-cosmetics.json file located in the core/cosmetics folder.

Getting Started

• Built-in elements: The mod includes several ready-made cosmetic items that can be expanded by server owners or the community.
• Resource packs: Cosmetic sets with .txt files for easy addition to configuration will be available. Use /cosmetics inject all to start!
• Creating your own: Resource pack setup is simple - download and edit one of my examples to ensure proper formatting.
• Commands:
  /cosmetics - opens the cosmetics interface
  /cosmetics give <player> <cosmetic> <trim> - adds specific paid cosmetics to a player
  /cosmetics sendPackets - sends updated server data to online players
  /cosmetics inject all/mod $modid/resourcepack $packname - imports configuration data from resource packs/mods to the server.

Important Information

The mod is actively developing, so some parameters in the configuration (for example, "modeltype") currently don't function. This is done to ensure smooth updates in the future, including support for changing the player model.

When manually setting up a new resource pack, use /cosmetics sendPackets so that online players can see the changes.
