Customize Nether Portal Materials

This mod allows you to completely change the blocks that can be used to build a Nether portal, as well as the materials used for automatically generated portals. All settings are available in the customportalframe-common.toml configuration file.

Standard Features

By default, the mod allows portal creation from obsidian, crying obsidian, and blackstone. This simplifies the restoration of damaged portals and provides access to cheaper options after visiting the Nether.

Automatically generated connected portals now use blackstone, preventing obsidian farming from them.

Creative Possibilities for Modpack Creators

The mod offers extensive options for customizing gameplay:

• Make generated portals from worthless materials to increase obsidian's value
• Use useful blocks for automatically created portals if you have interesting production chains
• Set complex requirements for frame materials to limit Nether access in early game stages
• Or vice versa - make materials as accessible as possible to simplify access
• Completely disable portal creation by setting an empty list of allowed blocks
• Allow multiple different blocks for one portal, creating unique combinations

The mod can be freely used in any modpacks without restrictions.
