Custom Selection Box

About the Modification

There was once an excellent mod called "Custom Block Selection Box" by BeastGamer that allowed customizing block highlighting. However, it worked with Minecraft version 1.3.1, modified the game's base classes, and was incompatible with many other modifications. Over time, all download links stopped working, and the project became outdated.

Therefore, I created a completely new version that doesn't affect the game's core classes (using MinecraftForge), has a convenient settings menu, and supports modern Minecraft versions (starting from 1.5). While I was busy with other projects, developer shedaniel maintained a fork of this modification.

New Features

The mod received several interesting additions:

• Disabling depth buffer for clearer display
• Customizable block breaking animations
• Automatic linking of connected blocks (chests, doors, pistons, beds)

Configuration

Recommended Method via ModMenu or Mod Settings

If you have ModMenu or ModSettings installed, you can access the mod's settings directly through their interface. Otherwise, a settings button will be added to the Options → Video section.

Bug Reporting

If you discover any issues with the mod's functionality, please report them through the GitLab issue tracking system.
