What is Cyberware?
Cyberware is a modification focused on technological enhancement of the human body, inspired by cyberpunk themes and influenced by works such as "Neuromancer," "Blade Runner," "Deus Ex," and "Shadowrun." The mod is currently in open beta testing — not all planned features are implemented, but everything listed on this page is already available!
Using a special surgical chamber, players can install "cyberware" elements — advanced technological implants — into their bodies. Here are just some of the possibilities offered by Cyberware:
- Replace the heart with a mechanical pump
- Implant an experience storage container in the skull
- Increase oxygen supply with built-in oxygen tanks
- Replace limbs with robotic cyber-limbs
- Install upgrades in cyber-limbs — from deployable claws to actuators that enhance jumping
- Replace eyes with advanced cyber-eyes that can be upgraded for night vision, underwater vision, and target tracking
- Reinforce bones with polymer coatings to withstand more damage
- Implant a processor in the brain, providing lightning-fast reflexes and evasion from attacks
- With the Tough As Nails mod — cool sweat glands to resist heat
However, such power doesn't come easily. To obtain cyberware elements, you'll have to fight monsters enhanced with technology. Additionally, using cyberware comes at a cost — either through energy consumption or by sacrificing part of your human essence.
