Dark Roleplay Core Modules - Dates
This module is part of the Dark Roleplay Core modification. If you already have the main mod installed, you don't need to install this component separately!
Module Functionality
This module provides a date utility that allows other modifications to perform actions depending on the current date in the game world. For example, the Crops module from Dark Roleplay Core (which is currently in development) will use this system to manage plant growth.
The mod doesn't just add day counting, but introduces a complete date system with seasons and years. Currently, these elements don't have visible effects on gameplay, but the functionality for their use is already implemented.
Installation
In most cases, you don't need to install this module separately, as it's already included in the main Dark Roleplay Core modification. However, if you want to use only the date system without other components, follow these steps:
- Download this module
- Place the file in the mods folder
- Launch the game
Future Plans
- Adding real seasonal effects on weather, day length, and increased snowfall in more biomes during winter
- Creating additional events for integration with other modifications and performance optimization
