DarkMining

In the standard version of Minecraft, mining blocks yields only one item. The DarkMining mod fundamentally changes this mechanic by providing a chance to obtain additional valuable resources. Mine ores to find diamonds and emeralds, or go treasure hunting in sands.

Your regular gaming session will become significantly more interesting thanks to the following features:

• Regular vanilla blocks can now yield rare items when mined
• Looking for food? Dig in dirt or netherrack - you can find food there
• Need diamonds or emeralds? Mine ores and get double rewards
• Want exclusive items? Explore End blocks

The item drop system operates on a weighting principle. You are guaranteed to receive standard vanilla drops but also have a chance for additional finds.

Technical Features

The mod fully supports server-side installation. You can install it only on the server, and clients won't require additional installation.

The developers of DarkMining also created the DarkRPG modpack, which offers a full RPG experience with quests and corresponding gameplay mechanics.
