DataPackAutoDownload - Automatic Dependency Installation for Datapacks
The DataPack Auto Download mod provides datapack developers with a convenient way to automate the installation process of necessary dependencies. You no longer need to manually track compatible mods, resource packs, or other datapacks - all of this is configured directly in the pack.mcmeta configuration file.
The system works as follows: when loading a world, all dependencies specified in the configuration are automatically checked and downloaded. This significantly simplifies the distribution of complex projects consisting of several interconnected components.
For different types of dependencies, different installation approaches are used:
Datapacks are installed and start working immediately Mods require client restart for full integration Resource packs are distributed to all connected players similar to server resource packs
