Dazzle

The Dazzle mod offers an extensive variety of lighting fixtures for Minecraft - perhaps even more than you'll ever need. Originally created for the ModOff 2018 competition (though with little attention to the main theme), the project has been actively developed and improved since then.

Main Features

The mod includes four types of lamps available in all 16 colors of the game palette, with two of them featuring animated effects. You can choose between digital and analog versions of these lighting fixtures, as well as between regular and inverted variants (to switch modes, simply right-click with a redstone torch in hand).

Additional features include a light sensor operating on redstone principles, particle light flashes, and panel lights that project a light beam up to 45 blocks in front of them. The latter feature is currently in active development but already fully functional. Dimmed versions of redstone torches have also been added.

The author continuously works on expanding functionality and plans to add more interesting lighting elements as new ideas emerge.

Important Note: Dazzle uses a significant number of block IDs (approximately 196). This issue will be resolved in version 1.13, but for now, you can disable individual lamp styles through configuration settings. There are four lighting styles available, and disabling each one saves 48 block IDs. However, all lamps use only four models and eight textures, so RAM savings will be minimal.
