Death note Mod For Java Edition

A Minecraft mod inspired by the cult anime "Death Note", fully adapted for survival mode. The main gameplay mechanics focus on mastering the power of the legendary death notebook capable of taking the life of any person by name.

Gameplay and Mechanics

After obtaining the death notebook, you gain the ability to eliminate any characters whose name you know. To do this, simply activate the notebook with a right-click and enter the target's name. The eye exchange function is also available - a special deal that allows killing creatures by direct use of the notebook.

Main Adversaries

Your primary opponents become the legendary detectives L and Near. L appears in the world naturally with a frequency of once per 128 blocks, making finding him a true challenge. The main difficulty lies in the fact that he carefully hides his real name.

Methods for Eliminating L:

• Perform eye exchange and use the command deathnote:l
• Convince the opponent to reveal his name
• Guess one of the six names he may provide

After successful elimination of L, literally after 20 seconds, Near appears with an FBI support group. It's recommended to retreat and use eye exchange to eliminate him, although experienced players can try to defeat him physically.

Rewards and Development

Destroying both main opponents brings generous rewards in the form of large amounts of experience. However, in case of your death after using the notebook, you respawn in the Shinigami Realm. This is a special zone where you can find rotten apples, meet other gods of death, and even transform into one yourself.

Shinigami Abilities

Having obtained the Shinigami form, you automatically gain Shinigami Eyes and the ability to fly - control similar to creative mode. This opens up completely new tactical opportunities for progress.

Server Mode

The mod supports multiplayer gameplay on servers but is currently in the testing phase. In server mode, the notebook can be used against other players without the need for eye exchange, although work with name tags has its specifics.

Tips for Beginners

Blackstone huts contain all necessary starting items: the death notebook and accompanying shinigami. It's recommended to carefully study the instructions for using the notebook by right-clicking on it.
