Decorative Boxes
The Decorative Boxes modification is a simple addon that I developed to introduce various wooden boxes into Minecraft that serve an exclusively decorative function. These boxes are designed to enhance the visual aesthetics of your constructions, and their creation was inspired by the needs of my own survival gameplay.
Available box varieties:
- Oak Box (oak wood)
- Spruce Box (spruce wood)
- Birch Box (birch wood)
- Jungle Box (jungle wood)
- Acacia Box (acacia wood)
- Dark Oak Box (dark oak wood)
- Mangrove Box (mangrove wood)
- Cherry Box (cherry wood)
- Bamboo Box (bamboo wood)
- Crimson Box (crimson wood)
- Warped Box (warped wood)
Key features of the modification:
Exclusively decorative purpose: These boxes do not impact gameplay in any way - their primary function is purely aesthetic enhancement of your constructions.
Rich variety: A decorative box is available for every wood type present in Minecraft, providing consistency with your building materials.
Simple creation: All wooden boxes are crafted using standard crafting recipes with the corresponding wood type.
Server-side operation: The modification is implemented using Polymer technology, eliminating the need for client-side modifications.
Compatibility requirements:
- Minecraft version: 1.21 - 1.21.1
- Polymer: version 0.9.14 or later required
- Filament: version 0.8.4 or later required

- Boxes:
All recipes are identical for all wood types! The only difference is the type of slab used in each specific recipe.
Usage instructions:
- Install Filament and Polymer: Ensure these modifications are installed and have update versions.
- Install the modification: Place the Decorative Boxes mod file in the
modsfolder of your Minecraft world. - Load the resource pack: Utilize Polymer's autohost feature to load the corresponding resource pack into your game world.
