The Source of Danger

The secret lies in the chests scattered throughout the ruins. Some of them hide terrifying creatures - Lunkertus. Perhaps they were guardians of an ancient civilization whose purpose has long been forgotten, and now these beasts fight for survival. Or maybe this is an evolved species that discovered adventurers are much tastier than regular fish and easier to lure into traps.

An encounter with this creature certainly promises nothing good!

Reward for Bravery

If you somehow miraculously survive a battle with the Lunkertus, you'll be rewarded with valuable loot:

Lunkertus Egg

Have a rival you want to settle scores with? Place a Lunkertus egg in a single chest, and it will transform into a trap containing the hiding monster. Send your "friend" a little surprise!

Lunkertus Esca

Sometimes called a "lure," this glowing part of the creature's body can serve as a food source. The taste is quite peculiar, but whoever consumes it gains the amazing ability to see all nearby chests. A great chance to find someone's hidden treasures! (May not work optimally with shaders).
