Minecraft: Delta Edition
A modification for Minecraft Alpha v1.1.2_01 that significantly improves gameplay and adds numerous useful features.
Installation Instructions
To install the Delta mod, follow these steps:
- Download and install Prism Launcher or MultiMC
- Create a new game instance for version Alpha v1.1.2_01
- Go to instance settings
- Open the versions section
- Click "Add to Minecraft.jar"
- Select the mod archive file you downloaded
- Enjoy the game!
What the Mod Adds and Changes
Visual Improvements and Settings
Delta Edition offers a "pretty visuals" mode that can be toggled on and off at will. This mode changes colors of foliage, sky, fog, and water, making the world more vibrant.
Display settings:
- Brightness slider limiting maximum darkness of shadows and caves
- Field of View (FOV) adjustment Screenshot feature backported from later alpha versions
Quality of Life Features
Interface and control optimization:
- F3 key now toggles display mode instead of needing to be held
- Player coordinates displayed in F3 menu
- Alpha watermark can be toggled on/off
- F1 key cycles between three modes: hidden UI, hidden hand items, standard display
- Default inventory keybind set to E
- Fixed rare ore generation at negative X and Z coordinates
New Furniture
Add decorative elements for sprucing up your homes:
- Table: crafted from 5 logs in a helmet shape
- Coffee table: top 3 logs on table replaced with glass
- Couch/sofa: use wool in a large L shape
- Lamp: torch placed below wool block
