Dimension Data Fix

Note: This mod's functionality has been integrated into Fabric API. This mod is not required when using the latest version of Fabric API.

This mod addresses the issue that occurs when upgrading a world containing custom dimensions added by other mods. During standard updates, DFU may disrupt the world saving process, causing the Nether and End dimensions to disappear.

Important: Always create backup copies of your world before updating to a new Minecraft version.

With this mod installed, DFU will not remove the Nether and End dimensions during updates, even if the world contains custom dimensions. If the world was already damaged before installing this mod, you can restore the lost dimensions using a special command. Simply execute /dimension_data_fix recover_default_nether_end, then exit the world (if it's a dedicated server, a restart is required), and the dimensions will be restored.

Please note that the restored Nether and End will use the standard generation settings of vanilla Minecraft. If the world previously used a custom generation type, the restored dimensions will operate with baseline settings since the original generation data is already lost. It's recommended to avoid world corruption situations.

Also keep in mind that this mod does not automatically make dimension datapacks compatible with newer Minecraft versions without appropriate modifications.
