Dimensional Anchor (Fabric)

Lodestones are too expensive — a whole Netherite ingot! And for what? So that a compass points to them. For an ordinary player without redstone engineering skills, this seems like a pointless waste of valuable resources.

But with the Dimensional Anchor mod, everything changes! This simple server-side mod adds vanilla-style teleportation functionality. Place a lodestone at your base (or anywhere else), right-click it with a compass — and that's it! Now the compass not only points to the stone but also allows instant teleportation to it.

How to use

• Right-click a lodestone with a compass to link them
• Hold right-click with the linked compass to charge teleportation
• Release the button to instantly teleport to the stone
• Switching items in hand cancels teleportation

Costs and risks

Magic requires sacrifices — in this case, experience:

• Teleportation within the same dimension: 5 levels (configurable)
• Cross-dimensional teleportation: 30 levels (configurable)

With insufficient experience, random consequences may occur:

Within the same dimension:

• Take 1-5 points of damage
• Compass breaks without teleportation
• Teleport to a random location within 50 blocks of the stone with loss of all experience

Cross-dimensional teleportation (all effects simultaneously):

• 5-10 points of damage
• Compass breaks
• Additional risks:
  • Nothing happens
  • Teleport to random coordinates in the same dimension
  • Move to a random dimension with the same coordinates
  • Completely random dimension and coordinates

Future versions of the mod may support dimensions from other modifications.
