Disable Christmas Chests - Disabling Christmas Chests

This client-side mod allows you to completely disable Christmas chest textures in Minecraft.

Important: the mod only activates during the period from December 24th to 26th inclusive. During the rest of the year, it has absolutely no effect on the game.

You can safely keep the mod installed year-round - it won't create any interference. However, for convenience, it's recommended to disable the hotkey in control settings.

If you want to temporarily see how the world looks with Christmas chests, use the G key (from the word Grinch). The button can be reassigned in the game's control settings.

Why exactly a mod?

During the Christmas holidays, Minecraft automatically replaces the textures of regular and trapped chests with identical Christmas variants. This creates a problem when using resource packs to remove holiday textures - both types of chests become visually indistinguishable from each other.
