The Distant Horizons modification dramatically improves visibility in Minecraft without sacrificing performance! It creates a simplified version of the terrain beyond the game's standard render distance.

This screenshot uses Minecraft render distance setting of 12 and additional mod distance of 512.

This extension allows you to enjoy panoramic views and see the landscape across multiple chunks without turning your gameplay into a slideshow. Now your mountain lookout towers and tall structures can reveal everything that lies beyond the horizon!
