Distracting Trims

In vanilla Minecraft, piglins are easily distracted by gold and do not attack players wearing golden armor. With this mod, the distracting properties of gold extend to any armor that has golden trim!

Yes, although the base mod only works with gold, you can use the datapack tag distractingtrims:distracts_piglins to add this effect to any other materials of your choice.

Do regular golden armors still distract piglins?

Yes, this mod only extends the functionality by adding the ability to distract through armor trim.

Is this a server or client mod?

For best results, it is recommended to install the mod on both client and server. Although theoretically the mod may work when installed only on the server, this option has not been thoroughly tested and is not officially supported.
