Dofus Portals Mod
Dofus Portals is a modification that adds special arch portals to Minecraft, inspired by the tactical turn-based MMORPG "Dofus" from the French studio Ankama Games, also known for the animated series "Wakfu". These portals are called "Zaaps".
Each Zaap is a stone arch that creates a temporary passage for instant travel to another location in the world. The unique feature of this system is that each portal can only be connected to one other portal, forming a kind of corridor between two distant areas.
How does the portal system work?
To create a transport route, you need to install two portals in different locations (point A and point B) and connect them using a special item - a small vial shaped like a drop with bluish content. Simply right-click on the portal at point A, then go to the portal at point B and activate it in the same way - the connection is established!
Important to remember: portals don't work continuously. Every 24 game hours (1,728,000 ticks) they deactivate. To reactivate them, just throw the same vial into either of the two connected portals.
Installing the mod is simple:
- Make sure you have Forge installed
- Place the DofusPortals - 1.12.2.jar file in the mods folder
- Launch the game and enjoy new travel possibilities!
