Dragon Mounts
This mod transforms previously useless dragon eggs into loyal companions and means of transportation. You'll be able to raise your own winged companion who will accompany you on all adventures and serve as reliable transport.
Getting Started
To hatch a dragon, find a suitable location and place the egg as a block. Simply right-click on it, and the hatching process will begin, which will take some time.
When the dragon grows up, tame it using raw fish. After that, it will follow you and protect you like other pets in the game.
Using a bone, you can give commands to tamed dragons - order them to lie down or stand up.
To ride a dragon, equip it with a saddle, then right-click on it without holding an action item.
Injured dragons can be healed by feeding them raw fish, chicken, beef, or pork (restores four hearts) or rotten flesh (two hearts).
During flight, control the dragon using a carrot on a stick.
Obtaining Dragon Eggs
In addition to boss battles, eggs can be found in chests. To do this, open the DragonMounts.cfg file in a text editor and change the parameter "B:eggsInChests=false" to "B:eggsInChests=true". If cheats are enabled, you can also use the chat command "/give dragon_egg".
Troubleshooting
If a tamed dragon doesn't respond to commands, use the chat command "/dragon tame" to regain control over it.
