DrCyano's Lootable Bodies

A mod that turns death in Minecraft into an opportunity to save your items. Instead of losing all your items upon death, they remain in a special lootable body that appears at your death location.

System Requirements

This mod requires Minecraft Forge version 1.8-11.14.0.1252 or later to be installed.

Installation

After successfully installing Forge, simply place the lootable-bodies-#.#.jar file in your mods folder. The file can be downloaded from the Releases tab on the repository page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why don't player skins appear on corpses in the Minecraft 1.7.10 version? A: The feature of loading player skins on demand was only introduced in Minecraft 1.8. I don't have the time or desire to rewrite this functionality for the older version.

Q: Can player skins be added to the 1.7.10 backport? A: No.

Q: I found a bug in the 1.7.10 version. Will you fix it? A: Possibly, but working on the latest Minecraft version is my priority.

Q: I found a bug in the 1.8 version. Will you fix it? A: Yes. Please post the full crash report and a description of how to reproduce the issue in the issues section on the github page.

Q: Can I use this mod in my public modpack? A: Yes, you can. My written permission is not required.

Q: What happens if my corpse falls into the void? A: It will be lost forever.
