Drinks and Draughts is a concise datapack that expands Minecraft with a huge variety of 44 drinks for every taste. Among the recognizable bonuses, there's a new alternative crafting recipe for sugar available by processing sweet berries.
The datapack is created with optimization in mind and has almost no impact on in-game performance – until the moment of interaction with new materials. Examining recipes excluding sugar (crafted from 2 sweet berries), you should create a recipe book: by combining 8 bottles around a book and activating the finished ingredient.
Types of Drinks
This datapack highlights three main types of drinks, with effect intensity proportional to ingredient acquisition difficulty.
Standard Drinks:
- Low-concentration juices provide modest nutrition and one-time thirst quenching, temporarily increasing speed and raising consumed sugar level; stackable up to 32 items;
- Vegetable juices are valued for high satiety but don't trigger additional effects; themselves still stack in blocks of 32 items;
- Blends recreate enhanced juice versions providing greater saturation, boosting speed when using speed mixtures and maintaining you fed for a longer period; stackable up to 16 items;
- Herbal teas are brewed with pitcher plants and combat thirst in small volumes while adding two positive effects simultaneously; maximum stack – 16 pieces.
Alcoholic Drinks:
- Beer slightly softens combat temporarily enhancing vicious drunkenness enchantments and stacks up to 32 bottles;
- Wine serves as source of dual enchanting effects together with intoxication dissolving by three degrees; can be stacked up to 8 items;
- Liquor works through prolonged action of three interactive challenges and intensifies intoxication stages by, at most, eight units line-bottom steps; stacks in groups of 8 bottles.
Supernatural Drinks:
- Magic interferes in five autonomous work spans magical components temptations adorned aspirations comped in cost of double-faced inroads tensioners.
