Drones Mod

Drones is a Minecraft mod that introduces various drone-like mobs, originally created for Darkosto's Invasion modpack.

The mod adds just two types of drone mobs and two special items for their creation and control to your world.

Hostile Drone

An aggressive flying drone that attacks players by shooting specialized saw blades.

Player Drone

A player-created defensive drone that follows its owner and protects them from hostile mobs. This combat drone is equipped with a laser installation for ranged attacks and damages enemies with a brief cooldown between shots. Visually, it displays the player owner's head.

Craftable Items

Drone Disruptor

A one-time craftable item that releases an electromagnetic pulse (EMP), destroying all non-player drones within its range. The crafting recipe is shown in the image below:

Drone Constructor

Another single-use item for creating a controlled drone. Using it allows you to summon a loyal helper that defends the player and engages in melee combat with hostile targets. Once the drone is created, it displays its owner's head and follows them.

Note: All featured images above illustrate the respective crafting recipes.

The mod also includes a flexible configuration system allowing you to adjust creature stats, their spawning rules in the world, and other parameters. Drones do not spawn in The Nether, in The End, or any underwater biome. Settings based on days are counted from the moment your game world was first created.
