Dropped Buffs
The Dropped Buffs mod introduces a unique mechanic to Minecraft gameplay - after destroying mobs, useful bonus buffs appear that can dramatically change the outcome of battles. Currently, you'll have access to 10 different positive effects, each opening up new tactical possibilities during confrontations with enemies.
Key Features:
When successfully defeating any monster, there's a 5% chance it will leave behind one positive effect. This chance automatically increases by an additional 2% per level of Looting enchantment, and also increases by 3% when the luck effect is activated on the character. All acquired bonuses last exactly 20 seconds and can be picked up exclusively by the player who delivered the final blow to the mob. The entire buff activation process is accompanied by pleasant animation visualization, while most effects are actually based on standard mechanics of the original game.
Available Bonuses:
Absorption Buff - grants extra hearts (Absorption II effect) for 30 seconds.
Speed Buff - guarantees increased mobility (Speed effect) for 30 seconds.
Healing Buff - instantly restores 10 health units.
Invisibility Buff - makes the character completely invisible to surrounding mobs for 30 seconds.
Luck Buff - provides loot enhancement for 30 seconds (interestingly, Luck itself directly increases the chance of buff drops).
Saturation Buff - completely fills the character's hunger bar.
Defense Buff - ensures increased resistance to received damage for 30 seconds.
Haste Buff - significantly speeds up block destruction process (Haste effect) also for 30 seconds.
Strength Buff - substantially increases damage dealt with appropriate weapons for 30 seconds.
Water Breathing Buff - allows staying underwater without drowning risk for 30 seconds (this effect only drops if the monster was killed in aquatic environment).
The system features full customization function for buff drop probability and duration. If desired, you can manually disable specific buff types through the corresponding configuration file, as well as adjust necessary parameters.
