The core library for the Dungeons Suite mod collection.
Built-in Enchantments
This system enables armor and weapons to be endowed with permanent enchantments that function like regular charms but cannot be removed by conventional means. A key feature is the ability to exceed standard enchantment level limits for individual equipment pieces. The library itself does not provide tools for adding such enchantments—this functionality should be implemented by other mods. The primary user of this system will be the Dungeons Gear mod, which will utilize it for working with armor and gilded enchantments.
Creature Summoning
The mechanics allow mobs and items to summon various creatures. A special capability system for summoning/summoner maintains these relationships. The mod also includes additional helper methods for working with various game systems, including damage dealing and target selection.
Ability Helper
Added a tool for enhancing capabilities when selecting targets. This helper determines whether a mob or player is a potential target. Primarily used in conjunction with the area of effect helper.
Area of Effect (AoE) Helper
This component provides a set of helper methods for quickly applying code to specific targets within a specified radius. Key capabilities include:
- Limiting the number of simultaneously affected targets
- Choosing the origin point: block coordinates or living entity
- Calculating distances between objects
