Dungeons Mod

About the Modification

This is my first mod that unlocks Minecraft's potential as a role-playing game with challenging bosses while maintaining the vanilla game atmosphere. All bosses can be defeated - they are difficult but not impossible, and fighting them using only vanilla mechanics is especially interesting.

Main Features

Bosses

The mod adds 7 unique bosses:

• The Deserted
• Iron Slime
• Kraken
• The King
• The Crawler
• The Sun
• Void Master (added in Void Calls update)

Mobs

19 new creatures appear in the game:

• Rogue: can steal from your inventory
• Anthermite: feeds on sugar and player blood
• Traveler: possesses maps for finding dungeons, summoned using campfire on haycoal block
• Piranha: hunts by scent
• Mimic: classic deceiver
• Guards: serve only the King
• Slimonds: rare hybrids of slimes and diamonds
• Scientist: evolved villager with laboratories
• Slimewolf: dangerous result of scientist's experiments

Halloween update additions:

• Crows: tamed with rotten flesh, attack enemies
• Note Head: creates spooky atmosphere
• Haunters: aggressive ghosts that phase through blocks
• Deadhounds: guard the Skeleton Lord's chapel
• Skeleton Lord (mini-boss): ruler of swamp ghosts

Winter update additions:

• PIces: peaceful slow animals
• Pitchers: carnivorous plants
• Leech: small parasitic mobs with life steal
• Whirlwinds: weather phenomena that can intensify
• Winter Hunter (mini-boss): lethal archer

Items

14 new useful items:

• Home Gem: returns to bed
• Back Parchment: teleports to death location
• Sun Overdrive: advances time by 12 hours
• Golden Bone: totem of undying for dogs
• Unstable Map: rare loot from sewers
• Cloud Mount: flying transportation
• Ore Detector: finds resources within 10 block radius
• Kraken Teeth: powerful weapon
• King's Crown: summons two guards
• Crawler Armor: enhanced by redstone
• Charge Launcher: shoots fireballs
• Void Tome: emits laser beams
• Kraken Tentacles: new food
• Potion Straw: instant potion consumption

Blocks

3 special blocks:

• Haycoal: foundation for traveler summoning
• Sun's Core: extremely hot block for crafting
• Wardshiper: protects area from hostile mobs

Additional Features

• Saddle becomes craftable
• Lore Books: provide hints for defeating bosses

Compatibility

The mod is available for Forge versions 1.16.3 and above, with a lightweight version also existing for Fabric.
