Dynamic Trees - Tectonic

IMPORTANT: Starting from Tectonic v2 (when custom biomes were removed), this mod is no longer necessary. From this version, compatibility is provided automatically. The mod will not be maintained or updated further.

Compatibility Overview

This mod creates a compatibility bridge between Dynamic Trees and Tectonic. Since Tectonic includes both custom biomes and unique trees, this mod converts all biome JSON files, replacing Tectonic trees with standard vanilla variants, registers custom biomes from the mod, and then cancels and replaces them with dynamic trees.

Version Features

For version 1.18.2-Beta3 and above:
Previous changes were reverted to ensure compatibility with Terratonic. When using with Terratonic, it is recommended to use this version or later ones.

For version 1.18.2-Beta2:
An additional datapack is available in the downloads section, adding compatibility with Skylands from Terralith (requires Terralith 2.2.3+, but Skylands are the only Terralith biomes present). When Terralith is placed above the standard Minecraft pack, strange effects with trees may occur, so make sure it is placed below.

Key Features

World Generation
In all biomes, Tectonic trees are replaced with vanilla variants, all Tectonic biomes are registered, after which regular trees are canceled and replaced with dynamic trees. Additionally, a dynamic dead tree is added to replace desert trees in Tectonic.

Integration with Dynamic Trees +
Dynamic Trees + is an optional dependency. When installed, any cacti in Tectonic biomes will be replaced with cactus species from DT+.
