DynamicBorder — Not Just a Boundary, But a Dynamic Gameplay Element

DynamicBorder completely transforms Minecraft's static world border, turning it into a flexible mechanic that fully depends on your actions.

The border can now evolve! You decide how the world will change — gradually unfold like the narrative of a good story or, conversely, shrink like a trap in a survival challenge.

Key Features:

• Custom Initial Settings. You can choose any starting world size — ideal for challenge maps, servers, or controlled territory exploration.
• Growth and Shrink Dynamics. The border can expand, contract, or remain static, creating the desired tension or sense of progression.
• Influence of Player Count. The world literally responds to your community! Set how many blocks the border moves per minute for each player. This way, the space automatically adapts to the player count, maintaining balance and pacing.
• Base Movement. In addition to player-driven reactions, set a background expansion or contraction that operates constantly. This serves as an independent pace regulator for gameplay.
• Activity Awareness. To avoid unnecessarily taxing the system, border movement activates only when players are present. The world evolves only when there is someone to witness it.

DynamicBorder is used in various scenarios: from launching story-driven or challenge maps to multiplayer servers where the territory grows with the team. The mechanic adds a new layer of strategic depth and makes each world truly unique.

The mod is available as a standalone project but was initially created to enhance a thoughtful and measured interaction with the environment in the Hidden Trails modpack.
