Differences from the Original

This modification is an adaptation of Earthworks for Minecraft versions 1.16 and above. Support for older game versions is not planned.

Some features have been modified for better compatibility with modern game versions, but all blocks and items have been successfully transferred.

Blocks and items no longer disable themselves when additional mods are present, and recipes for other modifications are not added, as these functions can now be implemented through datapacks.

Feature Overview

Earth Reworked expands Minecraft's building capabilities by adding materials inspired by ancient and prehistoric construction technologies.

Drawing from architectural solutions of the Stone, Bronze, and Iron Ages, the mod offers primitive building materials used by humanity at the dawn of civilization. These include wattle and daub, woven structures, rammed earth, and adobe bricks. These simple materials, created from readily available resources, when used properly, prove to be no less durable than stone and are perfect for constructing first shelters.

Some materials require more effort to produce - for example, concrete, cinder blocks, or cordwood walls. However, these more complex production materials will expand your construction possibilities and allow you to create impressive structures similar to those built by ancient Romans. They are produced in larger quantities, making them ideal for road construction and aqueduct building.
