EasierChests reForged - Convenient Storage Management
EasierChests reForged is a Forge-adapted version of the popular EasierChests mod originally created by GISELBAER. This enhancement makes organizing items in chests and inventory much simpler and more intuitive.
Core Features
The mod adds special buttons around Minecraft's standard chest interface:
- Row and Column Transfer - Move entire rows or columns of items between inventory and chests with a single click
- Matching Items Transfer - Automatically transfer all items that already exist in the target storage
- Content Sorting - Organize items in both inventory and chests for easy access
All these actions can be assigned to hotkeys for quick access.
How to Use
The green arrows located to the left, top, and bottom of the main interface allow you to move entire rows and columns of items. The broom button nearby handles sorting of the corresponding storage.
Pressing the middle mouse button marks individual slots as exclusions (marked with a red circle), which won't participate in automatic sorting and transfers. Use Shift combinations with corresponding buttons to override these exceptions.
Practical Application
Imagine organizing your resources system: one chest for cobblestone, another for andesite, one for diorite, and one for granite. After returning from mining, simply open each chest in sequence and press the appropriate arrow - all resources will automatically sort themselves into their designated places.
The mod fully works with servers and doesn't require additional plugins, since all performed actions are technically possible without it - they simply save your time and clicks.
