easyTeams - Simple Team System for Minecraft

This mod and datapack make playing in teams with friends incredibly simple and convenient. The perfect solution for survival in Minecraft!

What does easyTeams offer?

You have access to a full 15 different teams, each corresponding to a specific dye color in the game (except white). Choose any color you like!

Benefits of joining a team

When you join one of the teams, you get many useful features:

• Player name is colored according to the team
• Friendly fire is disabled - no more worrying about accidentally hitting comrades in battle
• Death messages and name tags are visible only to your team members
• Special /teammsg command for communication within the team

How to join a team

The process is extremely simple: place a wooden sword and dye of the desired color (red, blue, green, yellow, pink, orange, and others) in the crafting grid. Then simply click on the resulting dye in the output slot - and you automatically become a member of the corresponding color team!

Changing teams

Don't like your current team? Use white dye to leave it. However, to switch to another team, you don't necessarily need to leave your current one first - just create a new dye of the desired color!

Installation

For datapack

Copy the .zip archive to the ".minecraft/saves/your_world_name/datapacks" folder, where your_world_name is the name of your game world.

For mod

Place the .jar file in the folder designated for mods by your loader.
