Eccentric Tome Updated
This modification introduces a special item called Eccentric Tome, designed for convenient storage and management of various guides and books. Instead of carrying multiple separate publications, you can collect them all in one compact tome.
Creating the magical tome is quite simple — just combine a regular book and a bookshelf in the crafting table. After that, you can expand your collection by adding other books to the tome during crafting.
Controls and Interaction
The tome management interface is intuitive: simply right-click while holding the item to open the book selection menu. For single-use publications, automatic removal from the tome after use is provided.
Main key combinations: Right-Click — opening the book selection screen Shift + Right-Click — converting the book for the block you're looking at Left-Click in the air — returning a book back to the tome Shift + Q — ejecting a book from the tome
Compatibility
The modification by default supports all guides from Patchouli and Modonomicon. The settings also provide support for many other popular manuals, including:
- Immersive Engineering's Manual
- Tinker's Construct Books
- Pagan's Blessing Guide Book
- The One Probe's Probe Note
- Compact Machine's Shrinking device
- Alex's Mobs Animal Dictionary
If you encounter a book that cannot be added to the tome, you can manually specify its identifier in the configuration file.
Additional Features
The alias system allows changing the modification identifiers for already added books. This is especially useful when additional mods for the main modification add their own guides — for example, for RFTools, Integrated Dynamics, or Mystical Aggriditons.
