Ecdysozoa Infection (EARLY DEVELOPMENT)

What the modification adds

A new form of infestation is introduced into the Minecraft world. It begins with the appearance of the Allacma Fusca creature, which transforms regular dirt blocks into specialized Bug soil. This process has spreading properties and gradually covers more territory in your game world.

In addition, the game features Infecter Blocks. They form characteristic vein-like structures that infect surrounding blocks. When mining such formations, you obtain Infester Tentacles — a useful resource that allows you to deliberately transform regular blocks into infected variations.

From the obtained tentacles, you can create various items, including a special type of bomb. Instead of a standard explosion, it instantly infects blocks within its radius of effect.

Infection features

The speed of infection spread significantly exceeds similar mechanics in other modifications. At the current stage of mod development, infected blocks do not pose a direct threat to the player, but developers hint that this situation may change in future updates.

System requirements

Before installation, make sure you have the Geckolib library installed, without it the modification will not function.
