Effect Enchantments

This mod introduces enchantments that apply various potion effects to enemies. They are applied in the same way as standard enchantments from vanilla gameplay.

The enchantment level determines the strength of the potion effect, while the duration remains unchanged across all levels. The most useful and balanced enchantments are the most commonly found.

Useful tip: Instant damage effect heals undead mobs.

🖥️ System Requirements:

The mod is created for Minecraft Forge. Available versions for Minecraft 1.16.3, 1.16.4, 1.16.5, 1.19.4 and 1.20.1.

⚙️ Compatibility with Other Mods:

Fully supports JEI Enchantment Info and Enchantment Descriptions mods.

Also compatible with the enchantment description system from CoFH Core.

👾 Known Issues:

Known bugs:

• Removing armor with the Vigor enchantment resets health to the base maximum (typically 10 hearts). This is an error in Minecraft's base code, not the mod. No solution or workaround has been found yet. The issue will be resolved once a solution is available.

• Removing armor with the Golden Vigor enchantment or expiration of absorption effect while wearing such armor doesn't properly reset absorption health. This is also an error in Minecraft's base code. No solution or workaround has been found yet. The issue will be resolved once a solution is available.
