Dig worms from the ground or mud - this is a key element for breeding many fish species. Feed fish with worms and they will give you roe for further reproduction.
Special benefits are provided by filter feeders - oysters and mussels. If you place them in your aquarium, they will automatically clean the water of algae, maintaining perfect cleanliness.
