🔥 About the Modification

Eleron is a redesigned version of the Aileron mod, completely rewritten for Fabric 1.21+. This project significantly improves the standard behavior of Minecraft's Elytra.

The mod introduces new mechanics and enchantments while also adjusting existing functions to make them more balanced for multiplayer gameplay.

⚙️ New Features

Rising Air Currents from Campfires

Campfire smoke creates rising air currents that push players upward when flying over them with Elytra.

Smoke Trails from Fireworks

Used fireworks now leave behind a smoke trail serving purely decorative purposes.

The original fireworks mechanics can be restored using the fireworkBoostsFlight game rule.

Enchantments for Elytra

Elytra can now be enchanted at the enchantment table. The "Unbreaking" enchantment is available by default.

Smoke Charge Enchantment

Allows the player to accumulate boosts while crouching over campfires. Accumulated charges can then be used during flight for sudden acceleration.

Each enchantment level adds one additional charge, with a maximum level of 3.

The default key for activating boost is SPACE.

Incompatible with the "Cloud Flying" enchantment.

Cloud Flying Enchantment

Reduces horizontal air resistance when flying above cloud level.

Incompatible with the "Smoke Charge" enchantment.

Closing Elytra

New function allows closing Elytra during flight to stop gliding.

The default key for closing Elytra is SHIFT.

Ground Bouncing (Experimental Feature)

Ability to bounce off the ground during flight to gain additional speed.

Disabled by default, activated through the doElytraBounce game rule.
