Elytra Nerf

This mod introduces balance changes to elytra usage, making their application more strategic and meaningful.

Main Features of the Mod

Elytras now wear out twice as fast, encouraging players to be more mindful of their usage. However, to compensate for this change, elytras automatically repair durability when you take damage - the more damage taken, the more durability restored.

The mod also adds several new mechanics:

• Elytras provide protection against magic damage, reducing it by 15%
• Flight speed without using rockets is significantly reduced
• When wearing elytras, you become more vulnerable to water and rain, similar to End creatures

These changes encourage the use of more powerful rockets with extended flight duration and explosive rockets for efficient elytra durability restoration.

Important: The mod only needs to be installed server-side or in singleplayer.
