Elytra Trims

This mod opens up endless possibilities for personalizing your elytra! Now you can decorate your wings with armor patterns, dye them in any colors, and apply unique designs from banners. Your imagination is the only limit!

Main Features

Armor Patterns

Apply any armor trim patterns to your elytra. The mod includes a standard texture pack with all vanilla patterns that can be expanded with your own designs.

Banner Patterns

Combine your elytra with a banner in a crafting table to transfer intricate patterns and designs to your wings.

Dyeing

For minimalism lovers - dye your elytra in any color directly in the crafting table using dyes.

Glowing

Create a glowing elytra by combining it with a glow ink sac. Your wings will shine in the dark!

Installation and Compatibility

The mod must be installed on the client to display all effects. When installed on a server, new crafting recipes become available. Players without the mod won't see the decorations but can use created elytras.

Configuration and Customization

The mod supports resource packs, allowing you to customize all features to your preferences. Change pattern textures or create unique designs for your elytras.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can't apply patterns/banners/dye to elytra! The mod must be installed on the server. In singleplayer, check that the mod is loaded.

How to use the mod on a server without it? Create a decorated elytra in creative mode, save it to the hotbar, and load it on the server. Survival recipes require the mod installed on the server.

How to remove decorations from elytra? Click the elytra on a cauldron with water to remove patterns, dye, and glow. Armor patterns cannot be removed without additional mods.

Patterns look bad with capes! Install Mod Menu and YACL, then in Elytra Trims settings disable cape rendering on elytra.
