Adding Protection Enchantments to Elytra

This Minecraft Fabric mod opens up new possibilities for protection during flight. You can now apply absolutely all types of protection enchantments to your elytra, including blast protection, fire protection, and projectile protection.

Mod Concept

The developer created this modification as a more balanced alternative to mods that allow wearing both a chestplate and elytra simultaneously. This approach preserves the vanilla spirit of the game while giving players additional protection when using wings.

For proper mod operation, it needs to be installed on both the client and server. This ensures stable functioning of all features and prevents potential conflicts.

Future Plans

A fix is being developed for a side effect that allows applying protection enchantments to pumpkins and skulls. A special configuration setting may be added for this purpose.
