The main goal of creating Emojiless is to provide players with a working tool for displaying custom emojis without interfering with other text rendering mods. Unlike some alternatives, this mod ensures stable operation when combined with various graphical modifications.

How to Install and Configure

The process of adding your own emojis is extremely simple: just place PNG or GIF files in the assets/<namespace>/emojis/ folder within any resource pack. The file name will automatically become the emoji identifier. For example, a file at the path assets/myemojipack/emojis/mycoolemoji.png will turn into the shortcode :mycoolemoji: for use in chat.
