Enchantability

Important notice: Development of this mod has been discontinued. It will not be updated for future Minecraft versions.
Enchantability is a unique mod that allows players to use enchanted books to gain special abilities. Instead of applying books to items in the usual way, you can enchant your character with magical properties.
How to get started
To activate the enchantment system, you'll need an ender chest. Open it and look for a small book icon in the bottom left corner of the interface. Clicking on it will reveal special slots for placing enchanted books.
Available enchantments
The mod offers various magical abilities:
- Efficiency - increases output when crafting manually. Configurable list of items and tags
- Knockback - extends block interaction range
- Frost Walker - allows walking on air. Activate by sneaking while falling
- Flame - speeds up tile entities around the player
And that's not all available options! Each enchantment can be disabled through configuration files, and some have additional settings.
Additional features
The mod supports integration with Pautchouli for detailed information about all available enchantments.
For mod developers, an API is available to create custom enchantments. One spell can contain multiple effects, opening up broad creative possibilities.
