Enchanting With TFC - Enchantment Expansion for TerraFirmaCraft
This addon significantly expands the enchantment system in TerraFirmaCraft, adding new possibilities for equipment enhancement.
New Spells and Protection
The mod introduces five unique enchantments that will aid you in combat:
- Piercing Protection - reduces damage from piercing attacks, works in conjunction with other types of protection
- Slashing Protection - decreases damage from cutting attacks, compatible with other protective charms
- Crushing Protection - weakens the effect of crushing blows, can be combined with other protection types
- Slow Aspect - reduces the target's movement speed
- Hunting - increases damage against predators, combines perfectly with the "Sharpness" enchantment
Creating the Enchanting Table
To get started, you'll need regular obsidian from the vanilla version, which can be mined with a wrought iron pickaxe or higher-level tools.
The enchanting table recipe includes:
- Wrought iron sheets
- Red wool
- A book
Bookshelf System
Since TFC removed the standard bookshelf recipe, the chiseled bookshelf from the mod is used. By adding books to it, you create a source of enchantment power:
- 6 books = 3 enchantment power units
- Only 6 fully filled chiseled bookshelves are sufficient to reach level 30
Usage Features
Instead of lapis lazuli, the enchanting table uses gem dusts: amethyst, opal, and other minerals, which aligns with TerraFirmaCraft's general mechanics.
