Overview

EnchantingEncore is a server-side Fabric mod that fundamentally reimagines the traditional enchanting system in Minecraft. It introduces innovative changes to the interaction mechanics between bookshelves and the enchanting table, providing access to higher-level vanilla enchantments and significantly expanding the possibilities for creating unique library designs.

Enhanced Bookshelf Mechanics

• The system accounts for both regular bookshelves and filled chiseled bookshelves, with each shelf contributing to the enchantment level.
• Bookshelf detection operates within a 9x9 cube centered on the enchanting table, excluding the central 3x3 column.
• Bookshelves can be positioned behind other shelves while still effectively transmitting enchantment power to the table, enabling unlimited potential for creating complex library arrangements.

Advanced Enchantment Parameters

• Each bookshelf adds +1 to the enchantment level, with a maximum cap of level 50.
• The increased level threshold unlocks access to rare high-tier enchantment types, including unique treasure enchantments and magical curses at the highest levels.
• All high-level enchantments have been thoroughly tested and adapted to function correctly within Minecraft's existing game systems.

Innovative Enchanted Book System

A fully stocked chiseled bookshelf containing enchanted books with matching properties significantly increases the probability of that enchantment being selected during table activation. This effect can be multiplied by filling additional shelves with books possessing similar properties, allowing players to deliberately influence the outcome of the enchanting process.
