Ender Tendril

This mod introduces special seeds that can occasionally be found in loot chests throughout the world. When planted on the underside of a block, these seeds grow downward, gradually forming flowering tendrils that produce tendril pearls. These pearls can be used as substitutes for ender pearls in most recipes from other mods (where the "forge:ender_pearls" tag is used).

The main purpose of this mod is to assist players during early to mid-game progression, as some mods require large quantities of ender pearls.

Tendril Growth Process

Tendrils grow very slowly! Be prepared to wait at least several hours. And no, bone meal does not work on them.

Tendrils can only be planted on the bottom surface of a block. They grow downward as long as there is available space. Flowering tendrils appear every four blocks. Over time, the flowers produce tendril pearls.

Tendril pearls can only be harvested by breaking the entire tendril at once — this causes all tendril blocks to break simultaneously. Destroying any block (top, bottom, middle, etc.) results in the complete destruction of the entire structure. Each mature flower yields one tendril pearl and has a small chance of providing an additional seed. The bottom block of the tendril always drops as one seed.
