Enderite Crystal Mod: Complete End Dimension Enhancement Guide

*I recommend using the JEI (Just Enough Items) mod for easier access to crafting recipes.

Before diving into the details, I'd like to mention: I created this mod over two years ago when I was just starting to learn mod development. Although the content volume is limited, I hope you get as much enjoyment from it as I did during creation!

Important Compatibility Update

Enderite Crystal version 1.1 will be the final release for Minecraft 1.16.5, 1.18.2, and 1.19.2. Keeping content current across multiple versions proved too challenging for a solo developer. Therefore, all future updates will be focused exclusively on Minecraft 1.20.1 and newer versions.

New End Resources: Where to Find Crystal Deposits

Discover the secrets of the End beyond the End Cities! Three types of meteors now generate in the End dimension—small, medium, and large. These celestial bodies typically appear in clusters. Important: meteor size doesn't guarantee a specific amount of enderite crystals—much depends on luck!

For particularly lucky treasure hunters, wreckage of crashed End ships can be found in the End. Such ruins sometimes also conceal coveted crystals.

Craft a complete set of tools and armor from the acquired crystals, with each item possessing unique abilities. All special actions with these items consume a small amount of player experience.

End Technologies: Energy Capsules and Wireless Redstone Magic

Innovative energy capsules form the foundation of new technologies. When filled with enderite crystals, these devices create an invisible force field in a 12x12x12 block area. As long as there's a crystal inside the capsule:

• Players inside the field don't take fall damage
• Flight is possible within the field's boundaries
• All redstone systems within the influence zone activate

Capsules can be filled using dispensers, and just a simple right-click is needed to empty them.

Important limitation: The energy field ceases functioning if a non-activated enderite block is placed directly above an active capsule.

Integration with Redstone Mechanics

Enderite blocks, despite apparent simplicity, offer interesting possibilities when combined with observers. These blocks can be activated and deactivated using energy spheres emitted by the enderite sword. This combination creates an instantly working wireless redstone control system.

When enderite blocks are active, they glow in the dark similar to magma blocks. As mentioned earlier, placing a non-activated block above an energy capsule stops its operation without needing to empty the device.

Unique Tool Set

Enderite Sword

This blade impresses not only with its +0.2 increased attack speed! Additional function: right-clicking launches an energy sphere that tosses entities into the air (players—6 blocks, other creatures—12 blocks). These same spheres activate and deactivate enderite blocks. Both flight and block control require a small experience cost.

Enderite Pickaxe

A tool with two unique mechanics. Passive ability: with a 50% chance, block mining yields experience, regardless of block type. With Fortune enchantment, this effect enhances:

• No enchantment: 2 experience
• Fortune I: 4 experience
• Fortune II: 5 experience
• Fortune III: 6 experience

The active function allows selecting two different blocks with right-click and instantly swapping them without destruction. Using spatial manipulation also consumes some experience.

Enderite Axe

This weapon has a single but useful passive trait: attacks on living creatures (excluding players) have a certain probability of making the target drop an ender pearl. The chance increases with Fortune:

• No enchantment: 3.8%
• Fortune I: 3.4%
• Fortune II: 6.8%
• Fortune III: 8.2% (with 50% chance for double pearl drop)

Enderite Shovel

The most impressive utility in the set! Right-clicking any block gives it sand-like properties—it starts obeying gravity and falls. Using this power also requires experience.

Enderite Hoe

An eco-friendly tool for farmers! Right-clicking plants acts like bone meal, instantly accelerating their growth. Mystical influence on flora also requires some experience.

Armor from the End World

A complete enderite armor set is created by coating diamond armor with crystals. When wearing the full set:

• Slow levitation while crouching
• Excellent protection from high falls
• Armor toughness of +2 (for comparison: Netherite has +3)
