Enderthing

Enderthing implements a system for globally shared inventories. Using special keys, any Ender Chest can be converted into an access point for common storage.

Core Features

Ender Key - when used with Shift held on an Ender Chest, provides access to shared storage corresponding to the key's color code. Works anywhere and anytime.

Private Keys - function similarly to regular keys but provide access to personalized inventories that are unique to each player.

Ender Lock - allows permanent assignment of a chest to function as a keyed access point, enabling automation through hoppers and other item transport mechanisms.

Usage Specifics

• If you apply a lock to an already keyed chest, the old lock will pop off and can be reused
• To remove a chest's binding, hold it in your hand and use Shift + Right-Click in the air
• Private locks work similar to keys but don't support automation due to individual inventory binding to the player

Additional Capabilities

Chests can be broken with Silk Touch while preserving their contents, just like in the vanilla game.

Ender Packs - portable versions of the system: regular ones connect to global storage, while private ones connect to individual storage.

Security Card - once bound to a specific player, allows making a chest with automation capabilities accessible to that particular user.
